Troyes, my town

Troyes is a town in the northeastern Aube departement in France and is located on the Seine river. There are about 120,000 people with the suburbs. It is an old town with pretty buildings, some lean (the left one on the picture).
Troyes is well-known for its centre, constructed in the shape of a Champagne cork with timbered houses and private houses. Troyes was also famous for its former clothing industry and now it is well-known for its 250 designer shopping outlets (McArthurGlen and Marques Avenue). A lot of people from France come to Troyes to buy clothes during winter and summer sales.

ENSEIRB and where I live

This is our school. The current building was built in 1994 or 1995. The students used to sleep in the school (not this building) twenty years ago because they liked working but nowadays no one sleeps there. :D The second picture represents my residence where I live. My flat is only 1 room big but I have a bathroom and a small kitchen, it is sufficient for me. You may notice that my residence is only 100 metres away from the school and the tram, it is very convenient so some students are envious. :D

My Handball Club

Here are some players of my handball club in which I play CDs during the match. I travel very often to Saintes to attend every match !! I love this "job" (if it is really one) and I also love having dinner with all the players after the match... I really hope we will be "Nationale 1" champions at the end of the year... the team deserves this rank !

My Summer Job

Ladies and Gentlemen, you are on board of the train 866212 to Arcachon. This train will leave in a few seconds, please do not obstruct the doors closing, be careful to the departure !
Yeah, that's me, on the first day of my summer job as a train controller. I chose this job only because it is very well paid, not really to pay for the studies, but rather to have a little money if I want to buy something in the coming months. That was very nice but I would not like to work during the school year... summer is enough

My Residence

Here is where I live. Between Talence and Bordeaux, in a private residence. Even if I need to walk and take the tram (30 minutes) to go to school everyday, I love this place because I have a 30 m² room. In this residence, we all come from different places, some are not even students. We sometimes meet in the hall to "take the apero". I think that it is much better than living on the parking in front of the school... even if I would love to wake up later every morning !!

My Family

Well, I think that the first entry in this blog will be mine... I will begin with my family which is a composed family. From the left to the right :
Alice (13), my half-sister, my father-in-law, Patrice (52) who married my mother 14 years ago, Timothé, my half-brother (4), Jérémy, my brother (18), Sylvie, my mother (41) and me (20).
We have been living in many different places. We have moved some 11 times before setting up in La Roche sur Yon.
